Using a garage door opener has become so standard, I seldom see a garage door without it. It might even kill you! There is a well-known term – “if it works, do not touch it” (or fix it) – but perhaps there should be another one added to it “if it was correctly installed”…
Most of us despise instructions but please stay with me till the end of this article – it might be helpful for you, particularly if your garage door opener was installed by somebody else, it’s old, or you are not sure if what you did with it’s really safe.
